In Spots dam ~ Dixie Sundown
|
Pictured at 17 years old in 2004 - this mare was born a solid
bay and registered as such with the AQHA. Apparently by the
age of 8 years old, some roaning began to develop - and by
17 years old was clearly evident. Dixie Sundown reportedly
won a Quarter Horse Western Pleasure Futurity in the 80's
and is an NRHA money producer. In 2009 she is 22 years old
& retired from breeding. Dixie Sundown's AQHA pedigree
traces 8 times to the Coke Roberds breeding program, specifically
Buck Thomas (Peter McCue X Stockings.)
