2006 SRCHA Show Season

Points Tallied by Horse and Rider – through June 24/06

*To date includes the first 5 shows of 2006: April in Lumsden, May in Prince Albert, June in Hudson Bay and Asquith, and July at Sonningdale. Four of these are Buckle Series Shows.

All points earned in all three disciplines are combined here to achieve over-all point standings.

Some horses do not show in all events (or make it to all the shows) and a separate tally is kept by the SRCHA to record points and money earned in each discipline, and also by leading sires and dams.

In “Horse” Classes, the points go to the horse (under any rider) however, money earned is calculated by the rider as well as the horse for future reference.

In “Rider” Classes, the points go to the rider, and are tallied by Horse/Rider combination as well as cumulative total by rider (adding all horse shown by that rider in that class). To determine High-Point Rider, simply add all points earned by a rider under all horses shown in that division.

Note, only Buckle Series Shows earn points towards the Buckles – there are many cases of competitors who do not attend all of Buckle Series Shows and/or all of the SRCHA Shows that are not pointed for the Buckle Series, plus competitors who do not show in all disciplines. There are 6 more Shows in the 2006 season, including 3 more in the Buckle Series. (see the Calendar of Events Page).
